With GoogleFinance() and a few other functions within Google Sheets, we can build a highly intelligent and informative stock monitoring stock list that shows:
– daily price change
– daily trading volume vs average trading volume.
– price performance in 5, 10 or whatever trading days user prefer.
– calculate moving averages price value based on 5, 10 or whatever user selected number of trading days.
– create a mini price chart with user selected number of days.
– setup as auto filter to let user sort and filter stocks from the list.
– the spreadsheet is fuzzily formatted and demonstrate creative use of Number Format codes in making the sheet highly readable and easy on the eyes.
This is an advance Google Sheets demonstration that requires reader to have a foundation of Google Sheets or Excel skill.
